 1.  Copy your Check-In Check-Out program folder to a temporary location on your PC

- Delete any files ending in ".net" and ".mov" in the temporary folder (ex: InOut.net, InOut.mov).
- Download ( "Save") either  UpgradeENT.exe  OR  UpgradeENT.zip  into your temp folder.

2. Run the repair / update file in your temporary folder (it should only take about 10 seconds).

- The repair / update will import everything into the newest version of the program.
- It will also clear your history logs (they should be emptied monthly or quarterly).

3.  Have everyone close their in/out program . . . everyone !

- Don't forget .. some may be away from the office. Close their program, too !
- Note: Someone will ALWAYS have it running regardless of how many emails you send out.

4. Delete ALL OF THE FILES in the program's main folder on the network.

- You can not do the above step if even 1 person has the program open !
- Your Check-In folder on the network   must  be absolutely empty before Step 5

 5. Copy the files from the temporary folder to the empty main program folder.  Nothing else to do !

- Do  not  perform this step if you are unable to first empty the folder !

 6. Review our  guidelines  to help ensure your program runs error free !

~ Still Getting Errors ?

~ Can't Delete All of the Files (Step #4) ?

If you cannot delete all of the files in Step 4 it is most likely due to any of the following:
  1. Someone still has the program running and they may even be away from the office !
  2. If anyone received an error, the program may still be running in their computer's "memory"
and may not be visible.   Visit the offending machine(s) and do this:

1. Press CTRL + ALT + DEL

2. Click the "Processes" tab

3. If you see either "Outin32.exe" or "Summry32.exe" (or both) highlight
    each one and "End Task".

You should now be able to empty the network folder!
